We are excited to host the KERNEL program: Kids Eating Right – Nutrition And Exercise for Life! Kids ages 5-12 are invited to join in for a fun, FREE educational activity each market day. Kids that participate will receive a $2 voucher to purchase their own fresh produce and learn about healthy eating.
Families and individuals enrolled in SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly known as food stamps) can stretch their SNAP EBT dollars at the Spokane Valley Farmers Market. Get more for your money when using SNAP EBT to shop for fresh, locally grown fruits and veggies!
The WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program (WIC FMNP) provides healthy foods, nutrition education, and referrals for lower-income women, infants, and children.
The Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) improves nutrition for lower-income adults over age 60, offering access to fresh, nutritious, unprepared, locally grown fruits, vegetables, honey, and herbs.
In 2019, the Spokane Valley Farmers Market came to fruition and set its roots at the CenterPlace Regional Event Center. In the past six years, we’ve witnessed an abundance of family, friends, and neighbors come together to support local farms, artisan crafters, producers, food trucks, musicians, and an array of small businesses that just keeps growing.
In 2022, we decided that our Summer Market shouldn't be limited to just one season, so we launched our Winter Market to keep the fun going all year long and ensure our community has continuous access to local goods.
